1. Are you a software company with revenue between $1 million and $10 million?

If you are, you're probably in the right place. Our marketing programs are geared specifically for companies of this size

If your company is smaller, we might have a fit if you are ready to invest in marketing to move to the next level. If your company has more than $10 million in revenue, our programs are probably not what you need.

2. Are you prepared to spend from $2000 to $15,000 a month on marketing?

Most companies with revenue between $1 million and $10 million are spending at least $5000 a month on marketing. You'll get the best value from us if you are ready to invest in marketing and are looking to spend in the $2000 to $15,000 range per month. (That amount includes both our fees and the amount you'll spend on ads, printing, mailing, etc.)

We encourage you to tell us how much you want to spend each month. We'll help you allocate that amount in the most efficient way possible, given your product, your market and your circumstances.

If $2000 a month sounds like a lot, you might want to consider our marketing advice service. You can get a few hours of a marketing expert's time whenever you need it. We'll tell you what you should do, then you'll need to do it yourself. Our goal with this service is to help you grow your business to the point where you'll need more help marketing. And then, of course, we hope you'll start taking advantage of more of our services.

3. Are you comfortable working with a virtual organization?

Members of our team live and work in a variety of locations. Most are in North America but we have partners around the world. We do almost all of our business over the Internet and the phone.

We use collaboration tools and techniques we have developed over the past 14 years to ensure that projects are managed successfully.

This approach allows us to work with the best people, regardless of where they are located. It also keeps our overhead to an absolute minimum, ensuring that you get excellent value from your marketing investment.

4. Would you like to do more marketing without spending more time managing marketing?

When you work with JMR, you are matched with a marketing director whose experience is relevant to your business. Your marketing director learns your market and your products, and takes responsibility for coordinating all marketing work done on your behalf.

This allows you and your staff to spend less time managing marketing. You don't have to deal with a lot of vendors: one for SEO, one for graphic design, one for website maintenance, one for PR, etc. You don't have to train each person, then keep everyone up to speed on what's happening with your company and your products. You don't have to coordinate all of your marketing efforts so that changes made in one place are carried through elsewhere. Your marketing director does all of that for you.

We know marketing inside and out, and we are extremely familiar with many of the nooks and crannies of the software industry. But we will never know your market segment as well as you do.
