Press releases

By the time you hit $2 million in revenue, you should be doing at least one press release a quarter, and by $5 million you should be closer to one press release a month.

Press releases show the world that there's a lot going on with your company, that you are growing your business and doing exciting things. They reassure your clients that they made the right decision in going with your company, and they annoy your competitors. They are also excellent tools for search engine optimization.

We work with you to develop a strategy for issuing press releases, we write or edit the press releases, obtain quotes, optimize the releases for search engines, and distribute the releases on the wire services and to the appropriate editors.

Pitching

As useful as press releases are, they are not the best way to get media coverage for your company. The best approach is to identify the publications and editors who cover your market and build a relationship with them.

We identify articles into which your product might fit—or create ideas for articles based on your product and your users—and suggest these stories to editors.

Writing articles

We write articles about your software, your users and your company, and arrange to have them published in magazines or on websites that target your prospects. These articles can be published under your name, helping to establish you as an expert.

Media lists

If you want to do the pitching yourself, we can build a list of the most appropriate editors for you to talk to, saving you a lot of research time.
